The M4BL Mass Engagement Table is excited to announce the launch of the inaugural Media Fellowship. Designed specifically to address and mitigate the persistence of misinformation about Black-led movement, the Media Fellowship was an offering to M4BL ecosystem members interested in media and making a vital intervention for our movement.

As we prepare to shift conditions due to the presidential election, the 2024 Media Fellows identified “in defense and CARE of Black lives” as an essential intervention they wanted to make for their community members, organizers, and Black people. This offering is an opportunity for Black people to be reminded of the inherent power in their joy and to find resources and hope during this time when our communities are questioning our future, facing an impossible cost of living, an erasure of our history, the devastating impacts of the climate crisis, and a system that will work us into the ground for profit. This offering is a reminder that our reality doesn't have to be our future. It is our radical joy, our connection and commitment to one another, our CARE for one another that will lead us to the future, the liberation we all deserve.
